Lane Cove Fair October 2016

 

This years fair was held on Sunday October 9th with the Lane Cove Sustainability Action Group concentrating on the ever increasing amount of waste going to Land Fill. Our particular focus was on the estimated 1 billion disposable coffee cups that Australians throw away each year. We had a Giant Coffee Cup on display to highlight the growing problem. We were selling 'Keep-Cups' to demonstrate the alternatives.

We also continued to promote out Bagshare Bins with help from Wonona Students this year.
